Paul Peterson has been visually impaired since birth, and he was always frustrated by not being able to read the small text in which all comics are written. Despite his visual impairment, he has been a huge comic book fan his entire life, and he has always had a passion for art and storytelling.
For the past eight years Andrea Nelson has worked for a wonderful human services agency that assists individuals with disabilities. While growing up, Andrea was fascinated by art, and she painted a lot with her grandma. Before beginning work on Star Roamer, Andrea and Paul had collaborated on various projets around Lincoln, Nebraska, including murals for a preschool, two churches as backdrops for Christmas plays, the People's City Mission Free Medical Clinic, Lincoln's annual Zombie Walk, and two haunted houses.
