Why should I order from Nebraska Book Source?
Nebraska Book Source offers a range of hard-to-find titles related to Nebraska from independent and small publishers, and in some cases we may be the only source. Like our mother company, Infusionmedia, we are a small, independent company, and we do our best to ensure you the best possible experience in ordering from us.
- We have over five years of catalog experience (and over 16 years of experience in publishing, editing, and graphic design)—and we put it to work for you.
- We buy local, and we work with local and regional vendors for our supplies as often as possible to keep the money we spend in the regional economy. Buying local also helps minimize our impact on the environment (see #3).
- We are a "green" company. As frequently as possible, we use 100% post-consumer recycled or tree-free products in our shipping and packaging.
- We support independent publishers, including self-publishers, and we seek better solutions to help them get their books and other content to you.
- We make the extra effort to get your order right.
What kinds of books does Nebraska Book Source carry?
We carry titles from small and independent publishers that run the gamut from nonfiction to science fiction, paperback to hardcover. As we continue to add titles—including e-books—to our online catalog, we expect to increase the number of genres we offer. To see our current offerings, please visit our Products page.
What are my shipping options?
Our Standard Shipping option provides delivery confirmation via USPS Media Mail and delivery of your order within 8 to 12 days of processing within the continental U.S. The shipping cost is based on weight and is a flat rate.
Because Standard Shipping uses USPS Media Mail, packages can weigh no more than 70 pounds and be no more than 108 inches in combined length and girth. We also cannot include any advertising or promotional material in Standard Shipping shipments; if you would like a catalog to be sent with your order (once we have them available again), please email us and we will add you to our mailing list (or opt-in to receive emails from us when you place your order).
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are sent as soon as possible, and in-stock orders are normally sent within five business days of receipt. Because we are a small operation, order shipment may be delayed due to weather, illness, or other absences from our office. PLEASE ALLOW FOUR TO SIX WEEKS FOR DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER.
What are your shipping charges?
Our Standard Shipping with delivery confirmation is a flat rate based on weight:
0-5 lbs. = $7.50
10.1-20 lbs. = $15.00
20.1-30 lbs. = $20.00
30.1-40 lbs. = $25.00
40.1-50 lbs. = $30.00
50.1-60 lbs. = $35.00
60.1-70 lbs. = $40.00
Do you have a printed catalog available?
We plan to have a printed catalog of titles new to Nebraska Book Source that will be updated annually, but currently the online catalog is our focus and provides us with a larger canvas on which to display our products.
How do I return a product?
Products are returnable for physical defects or shipping issues within 45 days of shipment. Please e-mail cris (at) infusionmediapublishing (dot) com if you need to make a return, and we will provide you with instructions on how to return your merchandise. We will either issue you a credit check or credit your account for the original purchase price of the book plus your initial shipping cost.
What about back orders?
We deal with many smaller publishers, which often affects availability of titles and can test the patience of all involved. Bear with us on back orders. If a back order extends past three months, we automatically cancel it for you.
How do I cancel an order?
Please call us at 402-477-2065 as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order, and we will do our best to acommodate you.
Do you offer wholesale orders?
Wholesale orders (from bookstores, gift shops, wholesalers, and distributors) are happily accepted on Infusionmedia books—Abbatia Press, Amanuent Press, Asteria Press, Infusionmedia Publishing/Infusionmedia, and Plains Chronicles Press. With a purchase order, our terms are 45% discount, returnable, 60 days net. Returns must be made within 12 months of purchase for credit, and returned materials must still be in salable condition. Please include invoice information when making a return so that we may verify your prices and discounts. Because wholesale orders require a purchase order, we must receive them via mail or email.
Do you offer special terms for libraries?
Libraries receive a 10% discount on the total book price for orders of $35 or more (discount is not available on shipping cost). With a purchase order, our terms are 30 days net. We must receive library orders via mail or email.
